Step 2: Discovery

When you feel ready to go deeper into the topics that interest you, the experts are here…

Everything you know about birth comes from what you’ve heard and seen. But where has that come from?

If it’s from the world of film, social media and your friends’ emotional processing then it’s time to top it up with the independent insights of Cornwall’s birth & baby experts.

This ever-expanding collection of interviews features experts handpicked for their qualifications, experience and reliability.

All our experts are reputable, practising professionals and their insights come from a place of learning, understanding and results.

Featuring:

  • insights into birth: pain management, mindset and placentas

  • insights into feeding: breastfeeding, reflux, colic and pumping

  • insights into postpartum: managing recover, sleep deprivation & finances

Step 3: Preparation

As you approach your third trimester (25+ weeks) you may start thinking about what you want for birth.

This self-paced course will help your decision making process…

Let’s be clear: ‘Build Your Birth’ isn’t about a birth plan.

It’s about you.

Positive birth experiences start and end with a mind that truly knows itself and can make decisions from a place of confidence and conviction, not fear. This course will get you there.

Over the course of 10 videos, and with the help of your illustrated workbook, you’ll explore your own hopes, fears and goals for birth alongside the options that you are likely to be presented with through pregnancy, labour and delivery.

Why? So that you can dig into what YOU really need to feel confident and safe as you bring your baby earthside, however it pans out.

Step 4: Connect

In-Person: grab a space at one of Born to Birth Cornwall’s in-person events that brings people together in relaxed, social spaces. Book a space on:

  • Bump Club: the pregnancy coffee-meet up on the first Saturday of every month

  • The Nest: the weekly parent group at ‘The Family Space’ in Threemilestone
